Rafael
Rafael is a naturalist tour guide, born and raised in Costa Rica. Rafa has a wealth of knowledge about his homeland, as he has been a tour guide for over 20 years. Rafa was also a teacher for 8 years and speaks several languages. His passion is exploring nature and history. He loves spending time with people from all over the world and especially enjoys sharing his adoration of nature with families.
Fausto R. Alfaro Morales
Fausto was born and raised in Costa Rica. In his occupation as a forest engineer, he is passionate about helping Costa Rica conserve its natural resources.
Since more than half of Costa Rica is covered by forests, the country has been a world leader in ecotourism. Fausto plays a major part in this, as a dedicated engineer and nature lover.
Fauto received his Master of Science from the University of Brasov, in Transylvania, Romania. He is currently the technical director of the Ministry of Environment and Energy in Costa Rica.
He also serves as the President of the Solidarity Association of Employees of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy and is the owner of the Brasov Restaurant, in Quesada.
He enjoys meeting and welcoming tourists to the Arenal region and is an expert tour guide for our Arenal Volcano National Park. Fausto speaks Spanish, Romanian, English and Italian.
