• From the perspective of adventure, hands-on experiences for children, and the opportunity to practice Spanish, Costa Rica is truly a unique destination. 

• This real-life paradise is home to incredibly diverse ecology, amazing rainforests and wildlife.

• Costa Rica is conveniently located for a short, yet amazing international destination, which can be explored during a one week timeframe. 

• March is the best month to visit this beautiful Central American country, as March is the driest month of the dry season, with plenty of sunshine and minimal rain.

• Since our students are learning Spanish in school, visiting Costa Rica will give them the opportunity to practice their Spanish outside of the classroom environment. 

• Costa Rica also offers a chance to experience many cultural activities. 

• This excursion provides plenty of opportunities for learning and exploring for young children to teenagers, and adults alike.

 

Experiential Education

• Students will learn tips and tricks about international travel, practice their Spanish and expand their minds by participating in many cultural activities. 

• From learning about passports, how to pack/what to pack, all the way to on-site language and cultural immersion, students will acquire many life skills. 

• We will explore not only the touristy, ‘must-see’ places, but we will also travel to areas that are not well known, however they are truly local and authentic experiences. 

• We will visit a local school where our students can familiarize themselves with the life of a Costa Rican student.
